Breakfast Sausage

Posted on | August 15, 2012 | 4 Comments

I love to make breakfast for dinner. I’ve been trying for years to perfect a sausage recipe, and a couple weeks ago, Hubba said I did just that. I think part of the problem was that I was using ground beef, which is perfectly acceptable (as is any other ground meat), but pork really seems to be the best. We did like the ground venison, too, but the pork was still the winner!

Stacy, you can get whey by straining yoghurt, dairy kefir or some other type of cultured dairy product. I just realized that I forgot to put that it was optional, or that you can use other liquids. I’ve added that in.

Hi! I used your recipe today to make some sausage, but I left out the whey because I didn’t have any. It was delicious! Thanks for sharing your recipe! 🙂
